Cooperative Learning in PE!

The first few days of lower school PE  at Quest Academy are going great as a major focus has been cooperative learning.  This fun activity is Cross the River (or LAVA) as some of the classes would rather call it.  Each group needed to get all of their equipment and team members across the “river” without falling in.  Cooperation, communication, listening to others, and sharing ideas were just a few of the concepts that were stressed during this activity.

Lower school will be participating in many different cooperative learning activities through out the school year as it is a great skill to develop for everyone!
